The Maddy McGee novels
Written under the pen name 'Marcus McGee, the Maddy McGee stories ixie and Dixie are a pair of cute and funny tiny tree fairies who live in the Hollow of an old oak tree in the village of Tumbledown. It is to this village that a mother and father take their poorly baby (her name is Marie) for what they hope is a positive change for all their lives. What follows is a wonderful series of bed time stories centred around the growing relationship between the fairies and Marie.
"Initially, the Pixie and Dixie stories started as a number of bed time stories that I told my daughter to help her get to sleep of a night. Every few weeks we would come up with a new theme and develop each story from there. My daughter would then critique each completed story to ensure that it lived up to her high standards!"
