If. like many beings, you are of the belief that things are going to be cushy when you die just because you have led a good mortal life then you might have to think again! As Mike Carpenter, recently deceased Human quickly learns, things are far more complicated and dangerous in the afterlife than he could ever have imagined. Not only does he have to cope with the fact that he is dead, he is soon confronted with the challenge of determining what he wants to do with himself now that he has passed over and this is where it starts to get really interesting.
He learns that the there is a Heaven after all and that it is filled with Angels. So far so good but when he decides to follow the path to become an Angel himself he soon learns that things are not all as they seem.

And the Demons have never given up their hope that one day that they may get back to Heaven. A day that might not actually be that far away! For a traitor has appeared whose actions will change the very fabric and balance of power in the afterlife (and potentially all planes of existence)! Battle is looming and it is into this maelstrom that Mike finds himself reluctantly drawn.
